Blue Lobster Cards began as a hobby to help me, my family and beyond celebrate special occasion during Lockdown by providing attractive cards that could be made by hand in my home. From there it has developed into something just a little bit more!
I then began working on range of printed Christmas cards all of which continue to be produced from my own pen, ink and watercolour drawings. More recently, I have introduced packs of hand-painted note cards, something I always find handy for a quick message or thank you to a friend or loved one.
I take great pleasure in designing all my cards in the hope that they will also be enjoyed by others and whether made completely from scratch or printed, each card passes through my own hands and hand-finished before sending it on its way.
The inspiration behind the name Blue Lobster Cards comes from childhood holidays by the sea and lobster potting. These creatures are, in their own way, quite beautiful. Like the cards that I make, each one is unique, is there to give pleasure to those when seen first-hand, and should be shared with family and friends.
